Hand picked by God.
Just like Shepard boy David was hand picked from the sheep fold to the palace for a special purpose. In same manner did God take a young coalminer named Evan Roberts to usher in one of the greatest outpourings of the Spirit of God, the Welsh revival. Evan didn’t choose to be a revivalist, God had already chosen him from the foundation of the world. And as Evan yielded to the high calling of God on his life God did it through him.

Birthing Revival.
God had put an unusually passion and hunger in him. He loved to read and talk about revivals of old. Evan Roberts were very instrumental in the birthing of this great outpouring. As the Spirit of God moved on him he interceded and wept under a mighty love for an awakening in Welsh. He prayed so valiantly that his land lord had to tell him to leave. Its interesting to see how God picks someone out and pours of His own spirit on him for birthing a move of God. This move resulted in a hundred of thousands converts.

Embracing the love of God.
Evan embraced the love that God had for the people living in Welsh. He got a hold of the broken heart of God and offered it back to him through intercession. God is looking for people today that are not so occupied with themselves but rather give their lives in ransom for others. The only thing that can motivate us to pray for others is the mighty love of God. Paul said: That the love of God compels us.Its hard to pray when the love of God is lacking in our lifes. Ask God to touch you with his mighty love and put your heart ablaze for the salvation of your region.

Change of liturgy.
Evan was no traditional preacher. He seldom preached, he would usually sit on the platform and from time to time direct the people in prayer or worship as the Spirit lead him. As the waves of His Glory rolled over them, people could openly confess sins and cry out loud for the lost. They were not changed by the preaching of the word. Instead they where transformed under the Glory of God which were present. You see God can change people without using a preacher.

I believe that there are more “Evan Roberts” out there who is experiencing the love of God in such away for the birthing of mighty moves of God. Let us believe and embrace the love of God and intercede for our regions in Jesus name.

Ever since the The Father baptized me in His Liquid love in early 2002. The revelation of Divine Love has never stopped growing in me. I believe with all my heart it’s one of the messages I will carry and share for the rest of my life. I have seen such a need for these love messages in the body of Christ, not just to know the Love of the Father but to have and walk in this love towards others.

Motivated by God’s Love.
My concern is that we do all the things Jesus did without being motivated with the same divine Love that was in Jesus and motivated him to help people.

Mathew 9:36 “But when He saw the multitudes, He was moved with compassion for them, because they were weary and scattered, like sheep having no shepherd.”

Moved by compassion
Jesus was not just preaching that God Loves You, He was manifesting the Love of God that abided on the inside of Him. Jesus was moved by the love of God to heal the sick and liberate people from bondages. He was filled with that divine love flame that forced him to give himself to others for their freedom and wholeness.

The Fruit of Love.
Jesus said: By their fruits you will know them. (Mathew 7:20) The fruit is not how many converts we have or how many prophecies we give or how many miracles we see God do through us. The anointing falls on all flesh but the fruit of love only comes out of those that are abiding in Christ Jesus. (John 15:5)

God is not impressed by how much anointing we have on our life’s. But He is very impressed when he sees the fruit of love springing fourth from us as a result of abiding in Him.

Glorifying our Father.
We glorify our heavenly Father when we bear much fruit (John 15:8). And the fruit is Love (Galatians 5:22-23) and out of the single fruit Love comes all the other attributes of our heavenly Father.

We know that in the picture Jesus gives His disciples in John 15 The Father is the vinedresser and he is looking for fruit on the branches. He is looking for the proof that you really are connected with the true Vine Jesus Christ. The proof that we are in Christ and Christ in us is THE FRUIT OF LOVE.

He said: “By this all shall know that you are my disciples if you have love for one another“ (John 13:35)

The proof is in the pudding.
Love is the main ingredient. It’s the very proof that we have been born of the incorruptible seed of God. (1 Peter 1:23)No longer are we evaluating people on how much power of God they have on their life’s but rather how much of the fruit of love they have in their life’s .

1 John 4:8,9 “Beloved let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God. He who does not love does not know God, for God is love.”

The express image of the Father.
If the First born, Jesus Christ is the express image of the Father in heaven. (Hebrews 1:3) We as Sons and Daughters have same destiny and goal to become just as our heavenly Father in Character and nature. Our destination is to be transformed to his image and become perfect just as our Father is perfect (of full age). (Mathew 5:48)

Pursue Love.
Let us follow the instructions from 1 Corinthians 14:1 “PURSUE LOVE and desire spiritual gifts…”
First Love then spiritual gifts the reason is found in 1 Corinthians chapter 13. We can prophecy ,do miracles, provide for the needy and have all the faith in world but it would all be WORTHLESS WITHOUT THE LOVE OF GOD IN US!

If it’s not done in love it’s done by the wrong motivation and WORTHLESS IN GOD’S EYES.

He has promised that if we abide in Him the fruit of Love will come out of us and benefit others as a result.

John 13:34 “A new commadment I give to you that you should love one another; as I have love you…”

These last couple of weeks I’ve really felt an increase of the Spirit of prophecy manifesting upon me. I’ve come to realize that there are many different ways the Lord speaks through us to individuals that are in need of encouragement. Sometimes we call all these different utterances for prophecy but that’s not really the case.

The manifestation of Prophecy is very different from a word of knowledge, the Spirit of wisdom and revelation manifesting or the interpretation of tongues. Prophecy is the gushing forth of the word of the Lord through you and that’s why we sometimes have a hard time to remember the words that just came out of us, since it didn’t come from us nor was it premeditated but it came directly from The Spirit of God. We yielded to the Spirit and He took over and gave a message.

Reviving the charismatic life again.
The history tell us that there been waves coming and going times and seasons of God moving and bring the Body of Christ into different revelations and manifestations. History also tells us that some of those old revelations and manifestations got forgotten, quenched or just neglected in the pursue after knew revelations and manifestations.

But I feel its time for a reviving of some old revelations and manifestations that’s been on the decrees. It’s time to come back to that life with daily miracles, signs and wonders. It’s time to start expecting God for greater moves of His Spirit in you and on you.

Let the Spirit have his way.
Yielding is a must to be used for His purposes. Katharine Kuhlman once said “God is not looking for golden vessels, God is not looking for silver vessels, God is looking for yielded vessels.”

There is so much truth in that sentence, God is not looking for perfection before he uses you to be a blessing towards somebody else. No, He is looking for a yielded life a person that is submitted and in submission to Him. “God resist the proud, but gives grace to the humble.

Effortless.
Letting the Spirit of God work through you is effortless. All we have to do is yield and let The Spirit have His way. One of the secrets in seeing the Holy Spirit manifest in and through us is to let the Spirit manifest. What I’m talking about is a ceasing from our trying and just letting Him do it. If He does it, He gets all the Glory. If we had anything to do with it we get some Glory. So lets keep hands of the and let Him do it all by himself.

Get out of the way!
Two very powerful statements by Jesus that might shock you. I CAN OF MY OWN SELF DO NOTHING. IT IS NOT I THAT DOES THE WORK BUT THE FATHER THAT DWELL IN ME. Only someone that is fully yielded could say such a statement. So today lets yield even more to The Spirit of God and let him have it His way in our lives. Let’s look to the author and finisher of our faith and follow His example in this journey of miracles.

Get out of the way, let Him in today and let Him has His perfect way!

Partakers Of Divine Nature.
I feel such urge to share this message with you on the maturing in love since I received so much from the heart of God concerning His desire to transform us into His image. His desire for us is that we would embrace His love until we are made perfect just as he is perfect. Until we are stripped from our selfishness and made mature in His love.

“by which have been give to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.” (2 Peter 1:4)

We have been given great promises and by them we may be partakers of divine nature. God’s desire is that we may grow up into his divine nature and manifest his Love to a lost and dying world.

God’s Definition of A Mature Person.
It’s important for us to understand that when we are born the second time which is also called; being born again or born by God (John 3:3-7). We are not automatically fully grown into a mature state right away. Whether we are 20, 40 or 60 years of age when we enter the kingdom of God we are called babes in Christ and are not able to eat solid food yet. You see maturity in God’s eyes has nothing to do with your age, education, independence, financial status or experience etc.

God’s definition of a mature person is that one who is manifesting His nature. God is Love, he doesn’t have love He is love. The letter of John says ” God is love…as He is so are we in this world” (1 John 4:16-17)

From Child Of God To Son Of God.
Now let us take look at Mathew 5:44-48. Jesus says here that we should love our enemies and pray for those that spitefully uses us and so on. And then he says something that is very important for us to be able to understand verse 48 later. He says “THAT YOU MAY BE SONS OF YOUR FATHER IN HEAVEN”. Jesus is giving us the answer to who is mature and who is not. He is saying that if we love like our Father loves we are the sons of God.

Now look at verse 48 in the same chapter “Therefore you shall be perfect, just as your Father in heaven is perfect” This word perfect means to be of full age or reached maturity. And that leads us to the conclusion that being mature in God’s eyes is being fully mature in God’s own nature which is Love.

I’m The true vine You are the branches.
This whole parable in John chapter 15 is such a great and wonderful revelation on what God has in mind for us to become. Our whole destiny is to grow into Christ’s nature as branches in him and then letting His love take possession of us until the point when we are manifesting the wonderful fruit of love, the very nature of God. Jesus is saying in John 15:8 “By this my father in heaven is glorified, that you bear much fruit; so you will be my disciples.”

What He is saying is that when we bear the fruit of love as a result of abiding in Christ. We are truly manifesting Him to others and that is to be true disciple of Christ.

From that day forward Jonathan was completely healed. That first encounter with the Living God made him understand that Jesus was very real and full of unconditional love.

It was a couple of years later at the age of nineteen he surrendered his life to the Lord as he had another visitation of the power an love in his home in Sweden. The calling of God became more and more real to him after his conversion to the point he quit his employment and went to a one year full time Bible school Gotabro Bible school and then another 2 years at Word of Life Bible School. It was during this time that while praying, he heard the Lord speak to him about going to the United States. That same year, through a series of divine appointments, he came in contact with Pastor Rune Brannstrom who invited Jonatan to join him in San Antonio, Texas.

Since coming to minister in San Antonio Jonatan has started two different food distributions in the city with the first outreach on the south side. Then in 2003, Jonatan had a vision where he saw and felt the love of the Father towards a housing project named Cassiano Homes. He saw the fatherless, the prostitutes and the single moms who were crying out for help. God was asking Jonatan to go with His love to these people. In this vision he got instructions to get food from Daily Bread Ministries and distribute it as he had done in his earlier ministry on the south side. As a result of Jonatan’s obedience to that vision, God started working mighty miracles in Cassiano Homes by touching those in need of His love.
